Packeta continues its dynamic growth: New features for convenient delivery and planned expansion
Packeta, the Slovak market leader in delivery services, has announced its excellent economic results for 2023, confirming its revenue growth of 15% to EUR 67.28 million. This trend continues in the current year, which increasingly establishes Packeta as the largest delivery service in Slovakia.
Thanks to innovative solutions and continuous improvement of services, Packeta has become a popular choice among Slovak customers. Interestingly, even after the post-pandemic e-commerce downturn in 2022, when many businesses faced a downturn, Packeta continued to grow. This success is the result of not only new partnerships with major domestic e-tailers, but also expansion into 33 countries, helping Slovak e-tailers expand abroad.
New keyboards on Z-Boxes
One of the latest improvements Packeta has prepared is the installation of keyboards on all Z-BOXes. These modern devices will allow customers to pick up their parcels without the need for a mobile phone. From now on, all customers will need to do is enter a 6-digit code, which they will receive via email, SMS or Packeta's mobile app. The move is intended to make the parcel collection process even easier and more convenient, in line with the company's philosophy of being "on every corner" and providing maximum convenience to its clients.
Growing capacities and future plans
Packeta is constantly striving to adapt to the growing number of customers and shipments. Therefore, it plans to significantly increase the number of its Z-Boxes and dispensing points across the country by the end of the year. The new larger depot opened near Bratislava is just one of the initiatives to improve the company's logistics capacity.
“Back in 2017, when the market only knew traditional address delivery, we were able to identify a new trend and offer Slovak customers a more convenient alternative in the form of pick-up points and later Z-BOXes. People quickly understood all the advantages, especially the ability to pick up their parcels whenever it suited them and also at a lower cost. We also added the option to send parcels through Z-BOXes and pick-up points to family or friends, and improved services related to address delivery. For example, we introduced a service for precise address delivery, which clearly tells the customer when the courier will ring their doorbell. All of this, along with a user-friendly mobile app and a strong customer focus, contributes to our continually improving results,” says Alexander Jančo, CEO of Packeta.

Packeta's mobile app remains a key tool for our customers. In addition to a map of all dispensing points and an overview of current shipments, it also offers the possibility to send shipments to the Slovak Republic, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Romania. Thanks to this, customers can track their shipments in real time and plan their delivery according to their needs.
